Two Cell Systems: “Intrinsic Safety + Extreme Performance” as Dual Drivers
At this exhibition, the core focus of Benan Energy’s booth was undoubtedly its two self-developed series of sodium-ion cells. They not only represent BenAn’s deep accumulation in basic materials and cell design, but also perfectly balance the market’s urgent demands for “extreme performance” and “extreme cost”.

Power-Type Cells: Designed for High-Frequency, High-Rate Scenarios
For instantaneous high-power discharge scenarios such as AI data center (AIDC) UPS and grid frequency regulation, Benan Energy specially launched its high-rate power cell series. These cells support 5C continuous charge/discharge and extremely high rates up to 20C, with measured capacity retention exceeding 90% and temperature rise strictly controlled within 10°C, breaking industry bottlenecks and achieving millisecond-level instantaneous response.
Energy-Type Cells: The “LFP Moment” of the Energy Storage Market
As the “ace main force” for commercial & industrial (C&I) storage and long-duration large-scale storage, Benan Energy’s 166Ah large-capacity cell demonstrates a precise grasp of the future trends of large capacity and long cycle life. This cell exhibits remarkable cycle life in actual tests, with a predicted lifespan of over 20,000 cycles.
The entire series of Benan cells features no thermal runaway, non-flammability, and no explosion at the fundamental chemical topology level. Currently, all cells have successfully passed the world’s most stringent international certifications, including UL9540A, UL1973, IEC, GB, and UN38.3. Their stable polyanionic crystal structure eliminates fire risk at the source, fully meeting the “zero tolerance” safety requirements of high-end customers worldwide.
While pursuing extreme performance, Benan Energy never stops pursuing extreme cost. The company is continuously developing and has planned to mass-produce the next generation of ultra-large-capacity sodium-ion cells. Leveraging its independent R&D and vertical integration capabilities of cathode and anode active materials, the new-generation large-capacity cells will significantly reduce the BOM cost per watt-hour (Wh) through economies of scale and structural innovation, completely reshaping the total cost of ownership (TCO) advantage of sodium batteries in energy storage, achieving a true “lithium-sodium synergy, high-cost-performance complementation”.
Product Matrix: From “RockNa System” to “Full-Scenario Flexible Customization”
Based on the excellent performance of the two core cell systems, Benan Energy demonstrated its comprehensive coverage capability at the system integration level.
AIDC UPS Solution – RockNa UPS Series: A single cabinet supports 300kW power discharge for 10 minutes, equipped with liquid cooling design and active balancing, fully empowering the computing era.
C&I Storage Solution – RockNa 196kWh Outdoor All-in-One Cabinet: Supports stable operation over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 60°C, with no risk of thermal diffusion.
Long-Duration Large-Scale Storage Solution – RockNa 2.36MWh 20-ft Standard Container Energy Storage System: Integrated with an 1186V high-voltage platform, suitable for large-scale industrial & commercial applications and wind/solar integration.
Looking ahead, Benan Energy not only offers standardized containers and all-in-one cabinets, but has also fully launched flexible, customized product services at the system level. Whether for special embedded container requirements overseas or for customized microgrid projects on islands and in remote areas, Benan’s technical team can respond quickly, providing full-stack customized services from cells, BMS, to pack structure.
Ready for Takeoff: New Product Teasers and Intensive Delivery of Global Benchmark Projects
At the exhibition site, Benan Energy’s commercial team revealed a series of exciting product demands and new product launch plans.
Next-generation high-performance UPS backup cabinet soon to be globally launched – In response to the explosive backup power demand of global AI data centers, a new modular, higher-power-density sodium-ion UPS system is in the final countdown for release.
Grid-side 10MWh+ large storage project delivery imminent – Benan Energy is steadily advancing a 10MWh sodium-ion energy storage demonstration project for data centers and a domestic 25MW/50MWh grid-side large-scale storage project, marking the official entry of Benan’s sodium battery systems into the commercial scale-up phase of hundred-megawatt-hour (MWh) level.
To alleviate global customers’ concerns about new technology, Benan Energy officially launched the “Global Joint POC (Proof of Concept) Pioneer Program” during the exhibition. Targeting core customers in Europe, the Americas, Southeast Asia, South America, etc., the company will provide initial samples and dedicated R&D technical teams to conduct joint tests locally, verifying the actual competitiveness and performance of sodium batteries under extreme climates, thereby accelerating the transition from pilot projects to large-scale procurement.
Vision and Planning: Based on Local Production Capacity, Building a Global Green Energy Blueprint
Facing the strategic opportunity period of the rapid rise of the sodium battery industry, Benan Energy has drawn a clear blueprint for production capacity expansion and global development.
Capacity Building The company is fully accelerating the construction of its 10,000-ton-level active material production line in Shanxi Province and its GWh-level modern manufacturing base in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, completing a closed loop from basic materials to large-scale cell manufacturing, providing solid delivery guarantees for large-volume global orders.
Global Market Layout Benan Energy adheres to a “dual-track” internationalization strategy. On one hand, leveraging its distribution networks in Singapore, Thailand, India, and other parts of Southeast Asia and South America, it actively promotes single-point breakthroughs for standard distributed energy storage and backup power. On the other hand, for high-standard markets such as Europe and North America, Benan maintains a highly open and proactive attitude toward local industrial cooperation. In the future, through an innovative model of “Chinese technology + local assembly / technology licensing”, the company does not rule out establishing local production lines in Europe or the Middle East to fully integrate into the global green supply chain.
“Benan Manufacturing, Intrinsically Safe.” In the surging tide of energy transition, Benan Energy is rewriting the global resource game of energy storage with deterministic safety, continuously advancing energy density, and extreme cost control. With the surging power of sodium, Benan Energy is helping to drive the low-carbon transformation of global computing power and green energy.
