Benan Energy's sodium ion energy storage material base project started construction for a 2GWh scale!

On February 27th 2022,Hu Zhongxiong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Guiyang Municipal Party Committee, announced the start of construction in in Guiyang Gui'an. It’s marking the official start of the construction of the 2GWh-scale sodium ion energy storage material industrial base of BenAan Energy.

The Benan Energy Guizhou material production base  is the first sodium ion energy storage material base in China. The start of this project is an important milestone for Benan Energy to increase the investment, improve the layout of the sodium power industry, and build an industrial chain.

Project Description:

The material production base project covers a total investment of 80 million US dollars (equivalent to 512 million yuan), is expected to be put into operation in the third quarter of 2022.
